About this watch
The Casio G-Shock GM-2100YMG-9A from the G-Steel Fine Metallic Series dresses the iconic octagonal 2100 in a monochrome gold colour scheme. A gold ion-plated stainless steel bezel sits over the case, and the newly developed Tough Silicone Band is finished in the same gold, so the watch reads as one continuous metallic piece. The glass, dial and indexes carry a matching metallic glint. It is a fashion-forward G-Shock that suits evenings out and everyday wear alike, for anyone who wants toughness with a luxurious shine.
It is powered by the Casio Module 5611 quartz movement, accurate to ±15 seconds per month, with two SR726W batteries giving an approximate three-year battery life. The case measures 49.3 x 44.4 x 11.8 mm and the watch weighs 84 g. A glass fibre-reinforced resin case is covered by a forged stainless steel bezel with separate hairline and mirror finishes, then gold ion plated. A mineral glass crystal protects the dial, with Neobrite luminous paint for low light. Water resistance is 200 meters (20 bar), suitable for swimming and snorkelling. The Tough Silicone Band uses a urethane top layer with gold vapour deposition for abrasion resistance and fits wrists of about 145 to 215 mm.
