About this watch
The Casio G-Shock DW-5600STT-1D is a special collaboration model with the Netflix series Stranger Things, built on the classic square DW-5600 case. The dial carries a pattern of twisting vines inspired by Vecna, and the letter A in the LED BACK LIGHT wording is printed upside down as a nod to the Upside Down. Finished in all-black resin with red accents, it suits fans of the show and anyone who wants a distinctive take on the original G-Shock shape.
Inside is a Casio quartz module with a full auto-calendar to the year 2099 and accuracy of plus or minus 15 seconds per month. Functions include a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer with auto-repeat, a multi-function alarm, an hourly time signal and a flash alert. The LED backlight (Super Illuminator with afterglow) glows red to echo the show's colour palette, and the battery lasts approximately 5 years on a CR2016 cell.
The case measures 48.9 x 42.8 x 13.4 mm and weighs 52 g, with a resin and bio-based resin case and bezel under a mineral glass crystal. It is shock resistant and rated to 200-meter (20 bar) water resistance, suitable for swimming and snorkelling. The bio-based resin band has a stainless buckle and fits wrists from 145 to 205 mm, with 011 printed on the band loop and the Stranger Things logo engraved on the case back.
