About this watch
The Casio G-Shock G-Steel GM-2100M-1A takes the popular octagonal 2100 Series and gives it a monochrome modern industrial look. The black dial pairs with a stainless steel bezel that has a textured surface pattern and openings at the lugs, letting the inner shock-resistant case show through. A touch of red on the WR 20BAR label adds contrast, making it a refined yet tough choice for casual and smart-casual wear.
The watch uses a Casio quartz module with analog hour and minute hands, a day sub-dial and a digital display. Functions include world time for 31 time zones (48 cities), a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, five daily alarms, an hourly time signal, a full auto-calendar to 2099 and a hand shift feature that moves the hands out of the way of the digital display. A double LED light with afterglow and a mute option are included, with approximately 3 years of battery life on two SR726W cells.
The case measures 49.3 x 44.4 x 11.8 mm and weighs 71 g, with a resin case and forged stainless steel bezel under a mineral glass crystal. It is shock resistant and rated to 200-meter (20 bar) water resistance, suitable for swimming and snorkelling. The textured bio-based resin band has a stainless buckle and fits wrists from 145 to 215 mm.
