The rest of the specification is similarly straightforward: Hardlex crystal, a screw-down crown, one-way rotating bezel, LumiBrite on the hands and markers, and Diver’s 200-metre water resistance. Buyers who want sapphire or a longer reserve will not find either here.
Bracelet first, silicone strap included
The main configuration uses a silver stainless-steel bracelet. Seiko also includes a dark navy silicone strap, which is more useful than another commemorative box insert. The strap gives the blue dial and bezel a more uniform look and makes sense for actual water use.
