Release brief
The Citizen Series 8 NB6092-01E is a 41mm traveller GMT that mixes a forged-carbon dial with a Damascus-steel case centre. Calibre 9054 gives it the practical local-hour jump that matters on a travel watch. The louder question is whether the gold colour and layered materials still feel wearable after the launch photos stop doing the talking.

The case and dial are supposed to vary
Citizen uses modern Damascus steel for the middle section of the case, layering stainless steel to produce the visible wave pattern. The forged-carbon dial is made from randomly mixed short carbon fibres. That means neither surface should be expected to match every press image exactly. The individuality is real, but it is a finish variation rather than a claim that every watch was hand-forged by a swordsmith.

The rest of the case is stainless steel with yellow-gold-colour plating. At 41mm wide and 13.5mm thick, it is not huge by modern sports-watch standards, although the colour and 24-hour bezel give it more visual weight than those numbers suggest. The black calf-leather strap is the calmer part of the package.

Calibre 9054 is a proper traveller GMT
Calibre 9054 lets the local hour hand move forward or backward in one-hour steps without disturbing the minute, seconds or 24-hour hands. The rotating 24-hour bezel can be used to read a third time zone. That is the practical reason to consider this watch, not just the materials experiment around it.
Citizen specifies automatic and manual winding, 28,800 vibrations per hour, 24 jewels, about 50 hours of running time and an average daily accuracy of -10 to +20 seconds in a stationary test. The watch also has a date, stop-seconds function, luminous hands and markers, 10-bar water resistance, a transparent case back and sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Citizen states magnetic resistance up to 16,000 A/m for the Series 8 platform.
Price and availability in the UAE

WristBear has no matching Current Stock record for NB6092-01E, so this article does not claim that units are available to buy. The honest route is the maintained Citizen collection while local stock and pricing remain unconfirmed.
Who it makes sense for
Choose it if you want a true traveller GMT and the case materials are the main attraction. Skip it if you want an understated daily watch, a bracelet, or a confirmed UAE retail route. This is deliberately a materials-led limited edition, not a quiet Series 8 in a different dial colour.
Verdict: useful GMT, very deliberate styling
The NB6092-01E earns its place through Calibre 9054 and the genuinely unusual case construction. The traveller GMT is useful, the 41mm size is reasonable, and the forged-carbon and Damascus surfaces give each example some variation. The gold colour is the trade-off. If subtlety matters, this is not suddenly going to become shy when it reaches your wrist.
