The Seiko SRPD55K1 is one of the most iconic models in the Seiko 5 Sports SKX Series, offering a clean, versatile design inspired by the legendary SKX dive watches. It features a matte black dial paired with a matching black unidirectional rotating bezel, creating a timeless tool-watch aesthetic suitable for both everyday wear and outdoor adventures. Large applied hour markers and broad hands filled with LumiBrite provide excellent readability in low-light conditions, while the day-date display at 3 o'clock adds practical everyday functionality.
The watch is housed in a 42.5mm stainless steel case with a compact 46.0mm lug-to-lug measurement and 13.4mm thickness, making it comfortable on a wide variety of wrist sizes. A Hardlex crystal protects the dial, while the stainless steel bracelet features a three-fold clasp with a secure lock and push-button release. The see-through screw case back reveals the automatic movement, and 100 metres of water resistance makes it suitable for swimming and everyday use.
Powering the SRPD55K1 is Seiko's trusted Caliber 4R36 automatic movement, equipped with 24 jewels, manual winding, and hacking seconds for precise time setting. The movement delivers approximately 41 hours of power reserve and features both day and date displays.
