The Seiko SSK023K1 is part of the Seiko 5 Sports Field GMT collection, introducing a practical GMT (dual-time) function to Seiko's popular Field Series. Inspired by classic military field watches, it features a black dial with full Arabic numerals, a bold red 24-hour GMT hand, and a fixed stainless steel 24-hour bezel for tracking a second time zone. Large LumiBrite-filled hands and hour markers, together with a date display at 3 o'clock, ensure excellent readability for travel and everyday use.
The watch is housed in a 39.4mm stainless steel case measuring 13.6mm thick with a 47.9mm lug-to-lug distance, offering a comfortable fit while maintaining the rugged character of a field watch. A curved Hardlex crystal protects the dial, and the multi-link stainless steel bracelet is secured by a three-fold clasp with a secure lock and push-button release. The see-through screw case back showcases the automatic movement, while 100 metres (10 Bar) of water resistance makes it suitable for everyday wear and swimming.
Powering the SSK023K1 is Seiko's Caliber 4R34 automatic GMT movement, featuring 24 jewels, manual winding, hacking seconds, and approximately 41 hours of power reserve.
