About this watch
The Casio G-Shock GM-2100BB-1A is an all-black, metal-clad version of the iconic octagonal 2100. Its stainless steel bezel is finished in black ion plating and paired with a black dial and a black resin band, for a stealthy look with a premium feel. The analog-digital layout combines bold hands and indexes with a compact LCD. It is a versatile watch that works with streetwear, casual outfits and smart-casual wear, and it suits anyone who wants a refined, understated G-Shock.
Inside is the Casio Module 5611 quartz movement, accurate to ±15 seconds per month, running on two SR726W batteries with an approximate three-year battery life. It offers world time in 31 time zones (48 cities plus UTC), a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, five daily alarms and an hourly time signal. A double LED Super Illuminator lights the dial and the digital display, the hand-shift feature moves the hands out of the way of the LCD, and the full auto-calendar is set to 2099.
The case measures 49.3 x 44.4 x 11.8 mm and the watch weighs 72 g. A resin case is covered by a black ion-plated stainless steel bezel, combining G-Shock shock resistance with the look of metal. A mineral glass crystal protects the dial, and Neobrite luminous paint helps in the dark. Water resistance is rated at 200 meters (20 bar), suitable for swimming and snorkelling. The black resin band fits wrists of roughly 145 to 215 mm.
