About this watch
The Casio G-Shock GA-2100SRS-7A is the first-ever G-SHOCK with a full-surface gradated crystal finish, bathing the slim octagonal face in brilliant iridescent colour. Rainbow vapour deposition on the cover glass evokes a midsummer sky at dusk, shifting hue with the light, and each crystal gleams with its own unique pattern. Paired with a clear transparent case and band, it is a bold, fashion-forward G-SHOCK for anyone who wants something genuinely different on the wrist.
It is powered by the Casio Module 5611 quartz movement, accurate to plus or minus 15 seconds per month and running for approximately three years on two SR726W batteries. Analog hour and minute hands and a day dial work alongside a digital display, with world time in 31 time zones (48 cities plus UTC), a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, five daily alarms and an hourly signal. A hand-shift feature clears the hands from the display, and a double LED Super Illuminator lights both the face and LCD.
The Carbon Core Guard case measures 48.5 x 45.4 x 11.8 mm and weighs just 51 g, combining a carbon inner case with resin for strength and lightness. The shock-resistant watch uses specially treated mineral glass, which Casio notes can make the dial easier to read at certain viewing angles, plus Neobrite luminous hands and a transparent resin band. Water resistance is 200 meters (20 ATM), suitable for swimming and water sports.
