About this watch
The Casio G-Shock G-Lide GBX-H5600-2D is the first G-Lide to add a wrist heart rate monitor, wrapped in the iconic square 5600 shape. A translucent blue see-through bezel shows the internal construction, paired with a solid blue bio-based resin band, while a high-resolution MIP LCD displays tide graphs and training data. It suits surfers, runners and everyday fitness users who want G-Shock toughness with smartphone connectivity.
The watch combines Bluetooth smartphone link with the CASIO WATCHES app and solar-assisted charging, plus USB charging via a dedicated cable. An optical heart rate sensor and accelerometer support multi-sport tracking, cardio load, sleep analysis, blood oxygen measurement, breathing exercises and step counting. Tide graph data for around 3,300 surf spots, moon data, sunrise and sunset, world time, alarms and a stopwatch are included, and running time is approximately 1 month in watch mode with heart rate off.
The case measures 51.1 x 44.5 x 17.3 mm and weighs 47 g, with a bio-based carbon and bio-based resin case, carbon fibre-reinforced resin case back and a mineral glass crystal. It is shock resistant and rated to 200-meter (20 bar) water resistance, suitable for swimming and surfing. The bio-based resin band has a stainless buckle and fits wrists from 145 to 215 mm, with a coloured mode button and a white LED light with afterglow.
