The Casio G-Shock GMC-B2100AD-2A brings the distinctive octagonal design of the 2100 series into a sophisticated full-metal chronograph format. Its stainless steel case, bezel and solid stainless steel bracelet give the watch a substantial, premium presence, while the silver-toned exterior is complemented by a striking light-blue dial created using vapor deposition. The multi-hand layout and refined metallic finishing give this G-Shock a more contemporary and versatile character while retaining the unmistakable 2100-series identity.
Built around G-Shock's shock-resistant construction, the watch uses fine resin cushioning components between the stainless steel bezel and case to help protect the module from impact. The bezel is precision-forged, cut and polished, combining a circular hairline finish on its upper surface with mirror-polished beveled areas. The octagonal screw-lock crown reinforces the design, while the watch provides 200-meter water resistance for dependable everyday use.
The GMC-B2100AD-2A is powered by Casio's Tough Solar system and features Bluetooth connectivity with the CASIO WATCHES app. Smartphone linking provides automatic time adjustment, easy watch settings, approximately 300 world-time cities, time-and-place information and a phone-finder function. The watch also offers a stopwatch, 24-hour countdown timer, daily alarm, full auto-calendar, Super Illuminator LED and power-saving functionality.
Measuring 51.3 × 46.3 × 12.4 mm and weighing 171 grams, the GMC-B2100AD-2A has a substantial full-metal wrist presence while retaining the streamlined character of the 2100 family.
