About this watch
The Seiko SBPY181 brings a refined and contemporary character to the Seiko Selection S Series. Its grey dial features a layered metallic design with contrasting surface finishes, creating subtle depth and texture as the light moves across the dial. Sharp applied indexes and silver-tone hands provide a clean, sophisticated appearance that works particularly well with business and formal attire.
Powering the watch is Seiko's Caliber V175 solar movement, which converts light into energy and provides approximately 6 months of operation when fully charged. The movement has an accuracy of approximately ±15 seconds per month and includes an overcharge prevention function. The chronograph measures elapsed time in 1/5-second increments for up to 60 minutes, while the dial also features a 24-hour hand and date display.
The stainless steel case measures 42.2mm wide, 48.3mm long and 12.2mm thick, giving the watch a substantial yet balanced wrist presence. The dial is protected by sapphire crystal with an internal anti-reflective coating, helping improve clarity under bright lighting. The stainless steel bracelet is secured with a one-push three-fold clasp, while Lumibrite on the hands and indexes improves visibility in low-light conditions.
With 10 BAR / 100M water resistance, a screw-down case back and magnetic resistance, the SBPY181 is designed for dependable everyday use.
