About this watch
The Casio G-Shock GD-010CE-5D is a large-case digital G-SHOCK designed for a nature-minded lifestyle, with a long-lasting battery and an earthy colour palette. A brown bio-based resin case surrounds a black digital display with yellow and white markings, and it is paired with a beige cloth band made from CORDURA re/cor fabric. The band is coloured with FOOD TEXTILE dyes made from echinacea extracts, giving gentle, naturally derived hues that move easily from casual settings to work.
Inside is the Casio Module 3569 quartz movement, accurate to plus or minus 15 seconds per month, with an approximate battery life of 10 years on a CR2025 cell. Functions include world time in 31 time zones (48 cities plus UTC) with multi-time for four cities and home/world city swapping, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, five daily or one-time alarms, an hourly time signal and a full auto-calendar to 2099. The LED Super Illuminator backlight offers an auto light switch and afterglow.
The case measures 54.9 x 51.9 x 16.1 mm and weighs 73 g, built on a Carbon Core Guard structure using bio-based carbon and bio-based resin for strength and lightness. The CORDURA re/cor band combines durable CORDURA fibre with recycled PET fibre and fits wrists from 145 to 215 mm. The display is protected by mineral glass, and water resistance is 200 meters (20 ATM), suitable for swimming and water sports.
