The Casio G-Shock GST-B1000D-2A is part of the new G-STEEL GST-B1000 Series, combining G-Shock toughness with a cleaner and more refined metal design. It features a distinctive blue dial surrounded by a stainless steel bezel and solid stainless steel bracelet. The bezel deliberately omits the traditional G-Shock logo for a minimalist appearance, while vertical and circular hairline finishes together with mirror polishing create depth across the metal surfaces.
The watch uses a Carbon Core Guard structure, combining a carbon-reinforced case with a stainless steel bezel designed to help protect the module from impact. Urethane buffering components at the band junctions help absorb shock and reduce stress around the bracelet connections. A screw-lock crown and mineral glass further complement the robust construction, while the watch offers 200-metre water resistance for dependable everyday and outdoor use.
The GST-B1000D-2A is powered by Tough Solar and features Bluetooth smartphone connectivity through the CASIO WATCHES app. Bluetooth provides automatic time adjustment, easy watch settings, time-and-place recording and a phone-finder function. The analog display includes a day indicator and date display, while additional functions include a 1-second stopwatch, 30-minute countdown timer, daily alarm, full auto-calendar through 2099 and Super Illuminator LED lighting.
