Release brief
These two 38.3mm The Citizen editions share the same A060 Eco-Drive base but make opposite styling choices. AQ4100-65X is the sharper daily option with a crimson Tengujoshi dial and titanium bracelet. AQ4106-00B is the softer, dressier one with cloud-like Unryushi paper, gold fibres and crocodile leather. Neither has confirmed WristBear stock or UAE pricing.

Same movement and dimensions, different reason to buy
Both watches use Citizen’s A060 high-accuracy Eco-Drive calibre. The published specification is ±5 seconds per year, not per month, with a perpetual calendar, independently adjustable hour hand, power-reserve display, shock counteraction and automatic hand correction. A full charge provides around seven months of normal running or approximately 18 months in power-save mode. Magnetic resistance is rated to 4,800 A/m.
The common case is 38.3mm across and 12.2mm thick, with dual-sphere sapphire and anti-reflective coating. Both are rated to 10 bar. Citizen labels those dimensions as design specifications, so this is a sourced comparison rather than a hands-on fit test.

AQ4100-65X: the more practical format
The AQ4100-65X places ultra-thin Tosa Tengujoshi paper beneath a crimson upper plate with a sunray finish. That layered construction keeps the dial translucent enough for Eco-Drive while letting the paper texture show through. Gold-tone accents on the seconds hand and eagle mark stop the red-and-silver combination from looking flat.

Duratect Platinum covers the Super Titanium case and bracelet. The bracelet makes this the more straightforward daily-wear choice of the pair, at least on paper. The trade-off is that the dial is the main visual event; mechanically it is the same watch as the AQ4106-00B.
AQ4106-00B: the dial with more variation
The AQ4106-00B uses Unryushi, a form of Tosa washi with long fibres that create a cloud-like pattern. Citizen adds gold fibres during papermaking, so no two dial sheets arrange those threads in exactly the same way. That variation is a manufacturing characteristic, not a promise that one example will be more valuable than another.

The Super Titanium case receives Citizen’s Duratect Sakura Pink finish, while the strap is crocodile leather from an LWG-certified tannery. It is the dressier and less all-weather-looking option. The leather also makes the two watches feel further apart than their shared dimensions suggest.
Projected prices are not UAE retail prices
Citizen’s global release lists projected prices of USD 3,000 for AQ4100-65X and USD 3,100 for AQ4106-00B. At USD/AED 3.6725 on 5 October 2026, those amounts are approximately AED 11,017.50 and AED 11,384.75. These are indicative currency conversions, not official UAE prices, landed costs or discounts.
WristBear does not have a matching Current Stock record for either reference, so we are not claiming units are available to buy. The sensible route today is the maintained Citizen collection rather than a dead product link dressed up as a preorder.
The actual choice
Choose the AQ4100-65X for the cleaner bracelet format and stronger crimson contrast. Choose the AQ4106-00B if the dial fibres and Sakura Pink case matter more than all-metal practicality. The movement, dimensions and water rating do not decide this one.
Verdict: bracelet discipline or dial theatre
The AQ4100-65X is the easier recommendation for someone who wants the A060 specification in an all-titanium format and likes a strong dial colour. The AQ4106-00B asks you to care more about the changing Unryushi fibres, Sakura Pink finish and leather strap. If neither dial treatment is the point, the limited-edition counts alone are not a reason to choose either watch.
